Toledo’s next Running Chapter, born from a dynamic partnership between Toledo Metroparks and Run Toledo. This signature Half Marathon and 10K brings athletes and the community together on a course that showcases the city’s remarkable transformation. For the first time, runners will experience the Maumee River and the expanding Glass City Riverwalk as the centerpiece of a major downtown running event, with the Riverwalk nearing 50% completion and emerging as the heart of Toledo’s revitalized waterfront.

The course weaves through the city’s evolving downtown landscape and along the river, connecting historic neighborhoods, modern public spaces, and the award-winning Glass City Metropark. Participants get an exclusive, first-hand look at newly developed sections of the Riverwalk. Building on the success of past Metroparks–Run Toledo events, the Toledo Mini Marathon is designed as a premier, community-driven destination race.
