The Stinger 5K

Join us for an exclusive, family-friendly 5K run/walk at the 180th Fighter Wing, Ohio National Guard Base, Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport. This one-of-a-kind event features a route that includes a start/finish at the 9/11 Memorial, runs past the fighter wing parking pads and onto the Stinger tarmac. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the Stinger energy as our 180th Fighter Wing welcomes the public for a fun day on the base.

There is a strict 60 minute course limit for this 5K event. To allow time to ready the planes, all participants must be completed within the time limit allowed. A course sweep bus will accompany the race to assist anyone who falls behind pace. Alternatively, participants may choose a shorter distance walk to be able to complete their mission within the given time.
