Scouting America Half Marathon
The Scouting America Half Marathon offers three distances ; Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. All events begin and finish at the Wood County Fairgrounds. The half marathon enjoys a very flat route through the heart of a college downtown. This course scenery has it all — Industrial, downtown, wooded bike paths, golf course neighborhood, and City Park. Water stops are staffed by our area scout troops in uniform who thank you for supporting them. The post race refreshment zone, sponsored by Southeastern Container, offers chocolate milk, fresh fruit, and more. Finally, Scout Troops serve up a pancake breakfast for all, now included with your registration.
Pancake Breakfast Included
Enjoy pancakes and sausage, orange juice and coffee — included with registration. The breakfast starts at 7:00am and continues until 12:00pm and will be located inside the shelter near the finish line on the fairgrounds.
