  • RACE DAY QUESTIONS

This really depends on your race morning ritual. We do suggest to plan to arrive and park an hour before the event to give yourself plenty of time to pick up your bib if you still need to, warm up and use the restroom.

Be sure to bring your race bib if you picked it up early and wear it on the front of your outermost layer of clothing. You probably will also want running shoes (unless barefoot is your thing), sunglasses, a handheld water if you want and excitement to run.

The Toledo Mini Half Marathon is a point to point race. This means it will start in Maumee and Finish in Toledo at the Glass City Ribbon. There will be shuttles that will be able to take you back to the start.

On race day some of the roads may be shut down. We recommend arriving early to avoid any of these closures.

  • COURSE QUESTIONS

The course offers both a half marathon option and a 10k option that runs down river road.

As of the 2026 running, this course is not certified.

This course is designed for the more experienced runner. If you are beginning on your running journey you should consider starting with the 10k rather than the half marathon.

There are five water stops on the half marathon course and two water stops on the 10k.

Yes. There will be restrooms available at both the start line and inside the Ribbon at the finish line.

  • FAMILY PARTICIPATION QUESTIONS

ABSOLUTELY! We warmly welcome grandparents, guardians, and extended family members to volunteer, attend events, and participate in program activities—provided they complete any necessary volunteer safety checks.

For the safety of all participants, strollers are not permitted on the Half Marathon or 10K courses due to crowd density and course constraints.

  • WEATHER QUESTIONS

We get wet. We will not cancel or delay the event in the case of rain.

We will work with our local meteorologists and delay 30 minutes. We will also communicate with our law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe course. All information will be communicated clearly by race staff and volunteers during the event and also via email and text message updates.

We have never had to reschedule or cancel an event due to snow or rain. Before making any decisions we would consult with our medical director. We have added additional water stops on the course and will encourage participants to slow down.

  • DOWNTOWN TOLEDO QUESTIONS

At the end of the race, refreshments and food will be served inside the Ribbon and you will be able to order food from Poco Piatti while staying warm.

We recommend that after the race you take the time to explore downtown toledo only just across the bridge.

We think so! There are multiple hotels near the starting line as well as some downtown close to the ribbon and it is a perfect chance to get your entire family together and reconnect.
