After receiving State mandated requirements today that will not allow for us to gather in Downtown Toledo on Saturday, the Blarney Shamrockin’ Shuffle is now scheduled to take place this weekend as a virtual run only. With Lucas County still under a red-level health advisory, the concern is too great to continue and ensure that no large crowds will gather that would jeopardize the Blarney’s future, or foot races.

We are just as frustrated about this decision, but we’re working with you to make the most of it. — Having no worries will win the race! — You choose your own route around home to run, then interact with everyone online.

Wear your custom sport kilt and other Irish swag. When you’re finished on your 3 mile course, check in online to submit your finish time to the results page and upload your photos for entry in the prize drawings. — Have fun and give the public something to smile about as you run by.

☘️ HOW TO PARTICIPATE VIRTUALLY

Attend packet pickup to receive your kilt and swag.
Wear the provided kilt and embellish your St. Paddy’s-themed outfit.
Run/walk your 3 mile Shuffle on this weekend and make note of the time it took you.
Visit the results page and click/tap the “Submit Virtual Results” button to add your finish time (follow the prompts).
Upload your photos from the link/button on the results submission confirmation page.
Publish your photos/videos to Instagram #Shamrockin419 and/or the Facebook event.
Stop into the Blarney Irish Pub with your food and drink voucher any time through October 31st.
We’ll notify the prize winners and publish the announcement on our social media channels.
Now you have your official kilt to wear for next year’s Guinness World Record attempt.
