The Big House 5K, owned and operated by the Michigan Athletic Department, has a mission of raising funds and awareness for local non-profit beneficiaries. The race begins on State Street, courses through the University of Michigan’s central campus, and then finishes on the 50-yard line of Michigan Stadium. In the years since, we have raised over $1.4 million in support of local non-profit organizations serving the Washtenaw County community.

In 2025, we sold out of 12,500 race entries and raised $215,000 for our six local, non-profit beneficiaries. We are excited to partner with six local beneficiaries this year to provide a platform on which they can raise awareness and funds in support of their cause.
