MATT MASON

I am responsible for working with and overseeing the talented group of professionals at Run Toledo — developing early strategy of our season calendar, laying out the road maps for how we accomplish our goals, and many of the behind-the-scenes business operations. On race days, I run our course logistics, setup and clean up, ensuring every course is prepared according to plan and left better than we found it.

Running has been ingrained in my life since birth. The “Dave” from Dave’s Running Shop is my Grandpa and my Dad Jamie has owned and operated Dave’s since before I was born. I had my first race experience working the mile five water stop at the famous Dave’s 10-Miler in Delta, Ohio when I was 7 years old.

I’m proud to come from a family of runners who were integral in establishing the running community in Northwest Ohio. With this foundation comes my drive to continue providing opportunities for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to enter into the lifestyle.
