SAFETY OUTLINE

Are you ready to race or volunteer at the friendliest run a-round again? We’re getting the plan in place to welcome you to a safe and enjoyable environment again this Labor Day weekend in Sylvania, Ohio. Here’s your chance to race in 2020.

As of August 10th, our permits are in place, we have host approval, and we are planning to run this year’s Olander 24-Hour Ultra, Marathon & Team Relay in person, as safely as possible. Registrants will be required to follow all of the event guidelines, without exception, in order to participate. Deferral and/or refund options will be presented prior to race day. Any failure to follow set rules during event will result in disqualification and removal from park without a refund — no exceptions.

Of course as we near the race date, we are prepared to react to any changing requirements from our local health department. Currently, we have an 11-Point Plan for a Safe Return to Racing, that has received approval from the Lucas County Health Department and our medical advisors. This plan will continue to be customized to address areas specific to this race. The more detailed outline will be sent to participants once it receives final health department approval.
